Main stage disaster
This was my second time attending Rockville. I flew in from Boston and bought VIP tickets. I was disappointed this year compared to last, as the 2 main stages were at opposite ends of the park. Last year, the 2 main stages were conveniently located next to each other. Walking back and forth in the heat all day was tiring. If you wanted to see the smaller bands, you had to walk back and forth. The air conditioned bathroom wasn't in the VIP section this year and there were fewer vendors. They introduced a second VIP section on a hill, obstructing the view of the stage. The food prices were high, but the alcohol prices were similar to sporting venues. I will most likely return next year. It would be more convenient if Monster Energy added a Festival in New England for New Englanders to enjoy the World's Loudest Month experience.
